Okay, you’ve spent two years working
very hard with Marion. You have put forth the extra effort—if
mythology hadn’t before been in your studies—to learn
the language she uses. You have done extensive self-examination
to see whether what she says applies to you. You kept your
journal, gazed intently into the mirror she holds up, and
you have transformed. Now here’s your other reward (the
work itself is the big prize, this is the icing on the cake):
A close friend of Marion’s put together all her essential
ideas, as well as her beautiful way of seeing, into a very
easy to use, sort of “digest” of her work. The chapters
are thirty-four topics—Sophia: Feminine Wisdom, The Crone,
Body-Soul Resonance, Rites of Passage, Listening to My Soul,
to name just a few. Each starts with a page or two of explanation,
then several one-page or shorter “verses” culled from
Marion’s books, and strung together in sheer poetry,
even though it’s prose. Open it at random, your wisdom
for the day. I promise you will relish this book! For those
who haven’t worked with Marion yet, and don’t know
if they want to make the commitment, this would be a good
introduction (but not a substitute). A lovely treasure.
